For Laurie, creating her hand-dyed eco-printed silk scarves is a slow process involving days. There are many steps involved; each piece takes around a week to complete. Most of the scarves are dyed using local plants that are sustainably harvested in her garden, neighbours’ yard, or found in the ditches or forest around her home. Each scarf is a unique one of a kind piece that could never be replicated.
