Each year, our jury reviews applications from artists and crafters across every category, searching for standout work that represents the very best of what Canada has to offer. We proudly welcome both established professionals and emerging makers, and believe great work can come from any stage of a creative journey.
Our selection process values creativity, innovation, and thoughtful execution, and we are especially drawn to artists who push boundaries, explore fresh ideas, and approach their medium in unexpected ways—those who think beyond the traditional and bring something truly distinctive to their work. Strong craftsmanship matters, but originality, curiosity, and a unique point of view are what really make an application shine.
