Finding her inspiration in the colours, textures, light, and shadows of nature, artist Brenda Banda Johnson transports us in each of her pieces.  Her outdoor pursuits and experiences – mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, skiing and snowshoeing – are usually what inspire her.  Brenda works primarily with palette knives and heavy-bodied paints because she loves how sculptural the results can be.
