Izabela designs and creates unique hand-painted scarves and nuno-felted shawls that will make you stand out from the crowd.

Izabela takes white silk and applies colours with brushes. After setting the colours through the steaming process and washing, the silk is ready for sewing and pleating.  Izabela uses a Japanese technique called Arashi Shibori to create texture and sculptural effect in her scarves and shawls.

She will also use hand-woven silk organza and unspun merino wool to create felted scarves and shawls. The technique is called Nuno felting, which combines wool and woven sheer fabric. Each piece is done by hand by pushing wool fibres into silk with soap and water and her magic fingers.
