Born and raised in Calgary, Hew Jonsson has been working as a full-time Artist/Maker since January 2022 and has been producing a mix of traditional woodwork and three-dimensional art pieces that you have to see to fully appreciate. Hew was the kind of kid that grew up taking things apart to figure out how they worked, and then trying to put them back together. Which was sometimes successful! He has always been fascinated by how pieces connect together to work as one and wanted to explore that interaction in different ways, so why not use wood?
